University of Missouri Art Faculty Show

The George Caleb Bingham Gallery is proud to announce an exhibition of artwork from the renowned art faculty at the University of Missouri. The artistic mediums included in this installation are photography, printmaking, painting, video, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, fibers, and design. Some recent accomplishments of MU’s art faculty are exhibitions in New York, Beijing, Philadelphia, Berkeley, Kansas City, and St. Louis as well as several inclusions in the Missouri Top 50, a recipient of the Print Center’s Aperture Award, a presidential commission, and several residencies globally. This exhibition will also feature the newest faculty member to the Art Department, Joe Johnson, who has exhibited in Boston, Chicago, and recently had a solo show at Kansas State University.

Participating faculty are Boyer, Brueggenjohann, Calvin, Cameron, Clarke, Grill, Hawk, Hoard, Huelsbergen, Johnson, Langeneckert, Leong, Sampson, Stealey, Wilson, Ballou, Daniggelis, Farnum, Kerridge, Kreps, Shanks, and Thompson. images (opens new window)

The Artist’s Reception will be held August 28 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Both the exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
