MU Department of Art Faculty Showcase

Reception: Thursday, September 6th, 4:00 - 6:00 pm

The George Caleb Bingham Gallery is pleased to host a group exhibit by members of the MU Department of Art faculty. This exhibit is a must-see, especially for students and alumni of the department. The exhibit coincides with the 7th Annual MU Campus Gallery and Museum Crawl, which will take place on Thursday, September 6th, from 4 – 8 PM. Patrons can pick up a map for the crawl at the Bingham Gallery, which is one of many stops. Gallery Crawlers on Thursday will be eligible for prizes and will have access to museum and gallery exhibits and receptions all over campus for free.

The faculty of the MU Department of Art hold and participate in exhibits all over the world. 25 professors of art, representing photography, painting, fibers, ceramics, printmaking, graphic design, sculpture, video, and installation art, have work in this exhibit.

Reception will be held on Thursday, September 6th, from 4 – 8 PM, during the MU Campus Gallery and Museum Crawl. Refreshments will be served, And games and prizes will be part of the gallery crawl.

The exhibit, reception, and gallery crawl are free and open to the public.
