exhibit postcardA Common Humanity explores human similarities that transcend physical, social, and political differences. The work consists of conceptual self-portraits that use qualities and experiences of the individual as an example to point to the universal. The work attempts to challenge existing concepts of individual identity in order to link people by directing focus on universal similarities.

This exhibition will be on display in the George Caleb Bingham Gallery from Monday, March 28, 2005, through Thursday, April 14, 2005. A public reception will be held in the gallery on Thursday, March 31, 2005, from 4:00-6:00 pm.
