Graduating Seniors Exhibit

Supermarket Standard, an exhibition of the graduating seniors of the University of Missouri’s Art Department will open on Monday, December 3rd. With the variety of media displayed, the students will have an opportunity to present their work in the creative “supermarket” and begin the transition into the art community.

Graduating Seniors of the University of Missouri Art Department include the following artists and designers: Katherine Avant, Melissa Bauer, Katie Birk, Tara Boberg, Katherine Bromley, Samantha Burke, Emily Cadwell, Allison Campbell, Ben Chlapek, Charles Coleman III, Kristen Conley, Shannon Connell, David Deeken, Daniel De La Rosa Jr, Elizabeth Gaines, Rachel Gold, Mackenzie Herring, Lucy Hewett, David Overstreet II, Tyler Pedersen, RJ Platto, Amelia Ray, Dustin Riggs, Neil Ryan, James Slaughter, Megan Stone, Megan Sullivant, Kelly Thebeau, Tony Theberge, AnneMarie Vegors, Heather Venable, Tyler Woodcock and Lauren Zelazek.

This art exhibition is part of the capstone course in the Art Department and will feature a wide array of work including ceramics, drawing, fibers, graphic design, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and video.

This exhibition will be held from Monday, December 3 to Friday, December 14, 2007. A reception will be held on Friday, December 14 in the George Caleb Bingham Gallery from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
