EXCHANGE: UMKC Art Faculty Show

The George Caleb Bingham Gallery is proud to host an exhibition by the renowned faculty from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. This exhibition will include painting, photographs, electronic media, printmaking, and graphic design. The accomplishments of the professors at UMKC include a recipient of the John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship, multiple residencies at Light Work in Syracuse, and numerous public art commissions and grants. Additionally, artwork by the faculty at UMKC has been exhibited in major cities that include Seattle, the Bay Area, Chicago, Saint Louis, Houston, Washington D.C., New York, and Tokyo..

Participating faculty are Ricky Allman, Barry Anderson, Elijah Gowin, Craig A. Subler,

The Artist’s Reception will be held October 7 from 4:30 - 8:00 pm in conjunction with the MU Gallery Crawl. Both the exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
